
Community Carrot is my local fruit and veg shop. After two decades dedicated to fresh produce, the owners were planning retirement, and we risked losing the “crunchy carrot” from Dunbar’s High Street. They came to me for a rebrand — transforming the shop into the Community Carrot — and a website to engage locals.
In collaboration with my go-to web designer, Ema Johnson, we built a platform that enabled the community to raise funds for the shop. The campaign was a resounding success, raising over £62,000 — well past the £50,000 target — showing just how much the local people wanted to support this cherished High Street institution.
