The Dome, Edinburgh

The team at The Dome got in touch with me to create a series of illustrations for their drinks menus, having sought me out specifically for my illustration style, one that blends an old-fashioned, vintage feel with a contemporary twist.

Taking inspiration from The Dome’s glorious interior, all grandeur, detail and atmosphere, I created bespoke artwork that plays with collage, line and colour to echo the character of the space while adding a sense of fun and surprise. I love work that feels timeless but not stuffy, and this project was a perfect fit.

It was such a joy to see the illustrations become part of the menu experience, adding personality and a little moment of delight as people choose their drinks.
